The Wurkhouse team made the short trip to Belfast on Friday for the NI TECH MEET UP In Hedonist Hair on Botanic Avenue. A chic hair salon with a studio space designed for photo shoots which provided the perfect venue for this Meetup.
The event, hosted by the Northern Ireland Science Park, housed the best talent of N.Ireland in the digital and tech start up communities. Wurkhouse director, Ryan Sharkey, was invited to talk to the 100 strong crowd of entrepreneurs about his past experience in the retail business and his present success with Wurkhouse. Ryan was able to demonstrate Wurkhouses unique identity within the Northern Ireland scene as a leading digital agency and his talk attracted some new potential business with some fantastic companies who attended the night in search of inspiration.
Being asked to talk at this event is a testament to the rise of Wurkhouse as a company. We were able to talk to a lot of likeminded tech-savvy professionals and make some valuable contacts in the process. Trends are forever changing in the digital world and this was the perfect platform to converge with peers across the country about different processes and institutions.
We were very impressed by the event and its organisers. Events like these allow companies to come together and improve for the better on all fronts. It's fantastic to be able to give some insight to others and learn from other ourselves.
